Wheat Ridge Recreation Center closed Aug 21-25, 2023

The Wheat Ridge Recreation Center will be CLOSED from August 21st - August 25th for annual deep cleaning, upgrades and maintenance.

During this time and throughout the summer (dependent on contractor schedules), the Recreation Center will have a roof replacement, parking lot improvements, concrete repairs & replacements, lap pool resurfacing, wood floor resurfacing, shower & pool tiles repairs and stripping & waxing of all VCT flooring. Team members and contractors will also conduct a detailed deep cleaning of all fitness equipment, fitness floor, ballroom, carpets, tables, chairs, tile, grout, windows, HVAC vents and more!

Annual and month-to-month pass holders will be able to use the Charles Whitlock Recreation Center at no additional cost during the closure week (August 21st-25th). Please be sure to bring your Wheat Ridge Recreation Center pass for entry.

Please note that Recreation Center lap pool will be closed from August 21st through September 3rd, and the leisure pool will be closed from August 21st through August 27th for the roof replacement and lap pool resurfacing.
