Workshop will be led by Jim Roemmelt, Wheat Ridge Forestry Technician and ISA Certified Arborist and Mike Orellana, Wheat Ridge Forestry Assistant.
The City of Wheat Ridge will unveil a sleek and modern outdoor Fitness Court® with a supporting mobile app at Panorama Park on Thursday, October 13th at 9am!
Residents are invited to attend an Opening Day Launch Event to try the Fitness Court® and learn about upcoming community wellness events and programming. There will be giveaways, refreshments, fitness competitions, and a free community fitness class!
The new Fitness Court® at Panorama Park is an open-air wellness center that allows users to leverage their own body weight to get a complete workout. Created with adults of all ages in mind, the Fitness Court is adaptable for all fitness levels.
Join us at 10am on Saturday, October 15th for Prospect Park’s re-opening event. The event will celebrate the improvements made at the park after the completion of phase 2 of the park’s renovation work with refreshments and giveaways.
Phase 2 of the renovation project started in November 2021 and included replacing the picnic pavilion, replacing the tennis court with six pickleball courts, improving the road, parking lots, and sidewalks in the Park, replacing the eastern playground, and improving irrigation and landscaping throughout the Park.
Ages 11- 14 can invite their friends to a fun night at the Anderson Building with dinner, a game room and themed activities each night!
