COVID-19 Status & Updates
Last Updated 4/13/21
Parks & Rec Status
Wheat Ridge Parks & Recreation is operating in compliance with current Jefferson County Public Health and Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment orders. We have implemented strict safety protocols for both patrons and staff which includes reduced facility capacities, limiting gatherings, enforcing distancing guidelines, enhancing cleaning and sanitization efforts, using PPE and more.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility, as your safety and health remain our top priority.
Face Mask Policy
Pursuant to Executive Order D 220-138 and Jefferson County Public Health Order 20-008, no individual may enter public facilities without wearing a face covering. We require guests and team members to wear masks in all of our facilities and programs, except while in water and children age 3 and younger.
In the interest of all guests and team members, we are not making exceptions for those with underlying medical conditions. If you cannot wear a face mask due to a medical condition, we invite you to participate in our virtual recreation programs and outdoor recreation opportunities.
Our face mask requirements are stricter than the state and county orders, and are supported by the state, county and the City of Wheat Ridge.
