Yes, We're OPEN!

In compliance with current state and county public health orders, the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center is open in a limited capacity with strict safety protocols in place for both patrons and staff.

Reservations Required

Reservations are required due to limited capacity and can be made online at www.rootedinfun.com/register or by calling 303-231-1300

  • Walk-ups/drop-ins are not permitted at this time.
  • NO CASH transactions for in-person reservations/registrations.
  • Residents may make reservations 7 days in advance. Non-residents may make reservations 5 days in advance.

To maintain a safe and healthy environment and keep our doors open, everyone entering the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center must commit to the following:

  • I will stay home if I have a fever, cough or any other symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
  • I will wear a face mask at all times except while in the pool. Mask-wearing requirements apply to everyone indoors, including people exercising.
  • I will practice physical distancing (stay 6 ft. apart) to the greatest extent possible.
  • I will not shake hands or engage in physical contact with others.
  • I will wash my hands often. And I will use hand sanitizer in between hand washing.
  • I will not share equipment with others, and will disinfect equipment before and after use.

Cancellations / Refunds / Transfers / Missed Reservations

  • You may cancel your reservation up to 2 hours prior to your reservation by calling 303-231-1300l. No cancellations within 2 hours of reservation.
  • Refunds will be issued as household credit for cancellations made in time.
  • Reservations may be transferred to another person up to 2 hours prior to your reservation. No transfers are allowed within 2 hours of the reservation.
  • NEW! Effective Wednesday, Jan. 13 - Due to high demand for reservations, and an increased volume of patrons failing to show up for their reservation or cancel ahead of time, a $4 "no show" fee will be charged to individuals who do not show up for their reservation and fail to cancel within the allotted time frame. The fee will be added to your household account and must be paid before future reservations are able to be made.
