Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation offers discounts on Recreation Center passes to individuals and families who qualify, regardless of residency. Wheat Ridge residents who qualify also receive the applicable discount on program fees.

Wheat Ridge Community Foundation Scholarship
The Wheat Ridge Community Foundation, established in 2003, is a 501(c) nonprofit organization operated by a board of volunteers who are passionate about serving the needs of the community. This scholarship provides funds to those who need financial assistance to participate in Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation programs.

Therapeutic Recreation Scholarship
Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation provides scholarship funds to help people with disabilities who have limited financial resources participate in Therapeutic Recreation programs and services.

Kyle Brake Memorial Scholarship
Established as a memorial to Kyle Brake, a young boy who loved to play sports, this program provides scholarship funds for children (Kindergarten through 8th grade) with limited financial resources to participate in organized sports. Active Adult Center Scholarship Program
The Active Adult Center Scholarship is available to anyone age 50 and older. Residents and Non-Residents alike are eligible to participate in our scholarship program. There are NO income requirements. All you need to do is complete an application.
